I suffer from severe lower back pain and needed a pillow that could conform and stabilize; this pillow does just that. I like how I can use this pillow comfortably either on my side or on my back by itself. Had gotten some shoulder pain when using old pillow for side sleeping. Just a week with this pillow and my shoulder no longer aches and I have almost no pain. Overall the pillow does as advertised and I have had some pain relief thanks to the way the pillow was made to accommodate multi-position sleepers.
