Loved the pillow

As a side sleeper I found it helpful to have the curved parts facing down even though that's not what's recommended. It gives me a little area to put my arm because I never know what to do with them when I'm sleeping. It's been over a year or two now and I can safely say that it has not lost much firmness. This is my second tempurpedic pillow I've purchased and I just ordered a few more. After all the research I've done with other brands, I'm going to just stick with TP unless the quality starts slipping.

My wife and I both got one of these pillows and we absolutely love them. She sleeps on her stomach and I sleep on my side and it provides plenty of support and comfort for both of us. The only thing I would change is the ability to order it in a King-size because our king-size pillow cases are far too big.

Hard as a rock

I must have a defective pillow because it's the opposite of soft. I bought the temper cloud cooling pillow for my husband, which is listed as a medium firm pillow, and we both sink right into it, it's amazing. But I haven't been able to sleep in 2 nights because the symphony is NOT soft. If you are a back sleeper, the curved side is nice but as a side sleeper, don't get this pillow. I wind up laying on top of the pillow (no sinking at all), which is pretty high, which then cricks my neck too far the wrong way. Ugh. This has to be a defect. I don't sink into the pillow at all, it's not soft or comfortable or anything that has felt like a tempurpedic pillow, which I have slept on previously for years. It's a big piece of hard foam. What a waste of money.

I have a history of neck issues. Switching to this pillow has made a world of difference along with chiropractic therapy. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone.

Totally different version (not in a good way)

Loved the previous version of this pillow for years, unfortunately I had to replace when it was damaged. The new version is NOT the same *at all*...it seems to be made out of a completely different kind of foam (one that I will charitably describe as comfortable for a car seat but definitely not something you'd want to lay your head on all night). It's smaller, significantly firmer, and doesn't have the same "give"; it feels cheap and after one night I woke up with a neck cramp so bad I had a headache on one side for days. I so wish I would have read the other reviews before purchasing (since now I can't return). I very rarely write reviews--let alone negative ones--but this is such a disappointing downgrade from the previous version (for so much money!!) I had to say something. I'm currently deciding whether it would be more appropriate to give this to a family member for their dog, or throw it in a flaming dumpster. Either way, I can't sleep on it.

Prior to using this pillow I constantly woke up with a lot of neck pain but since using this pillow I no longer have any issues. The pillow forms perfectly around your head and neck and maintains a strong posture while sleeping which is exactly what I needed.

30 years ago or so I bought this pillow and it was amazing! Slept good, super comfortable, no neck pain when I woke up and it overall improved my sleep quality. I give my old pillow to my wife because it is still good and decide to buy myself another one. Big mistake! They don't feel like the same pillow anymore! Not as comfortable as the one I bought 20 years ago, or any of the good qualities I listed above. It's almost as though they are using a material that is not as good as the one they were using back then. Anyway, I don't recommend this pillow anymore.
