I bought a Tempe Pedic bed 20 years ago that seems to to be a better built quality that this one (it had a 20 year warranty; this one only has a 10 year warranty). The prices have also gotten pretty expensive. It's comfortable, but not as much as our old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have aches and pains from surgery or arthritis this is the mattress for you. It contours to your body. The price is higher but it will last you much longer than other mattresses so it's definitely worth it. Who enjoys mattress shopping?

I used to wake up tossing and turning due to immense pain and pressure on my side after an injury. After one night of sleep on this new mattress - I swear to you- my entire body went back into alignment and I SLEPT! It definitely took a moment to get used to sinking in a bit. I was afraid I'd get stuck and not be able to turn over. But I got used to it after waking up so rested. I'm so grateful I made this purchase. I'll never return to a regular mattress.

My back always used to hurt when I would wake up but now, my back feels like it is getting more support. The only con is the smell of the mattress even 2 months later, it is still giving off a noticeable smell of off-gasses (VOC). Other than that it was quite a deal.
