The mattress is a bit soft. I was expecting something a little more firm but perhaps it will be nicer once the base arrives.

Comfortable mattress with side wall collapse

Compared to the other products in tempurpedic's lineup, side wall collapse seems to be more of a problem. You can't sit on the edge of the bed. Also, it is not comfortable to read in an upright seated position. I don't think I would buy this bed again.

I feel like I have to spend another $300-400 to get a topper now. Now, I like a medium - firm mattress, but this seems far more "firm" than medium. Either I'm in the significant minority or ratings are significantly skewed towards people that like a super firm mattress.

I have a split king and I was nervous that they would move apart easily but that's not been the case! Over all I love them!
