[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of the earliest Tempur-pedic mattresses, way back in 1999, and used it constantly until a month ago. So it lasted 25 years! I liked sleeping on it, so I tried to get as close a replacement as possible, and I think this Tempur-cloud is it. Only thing is, sitting on the edge isn't very stable; you tend to slide off. But that's not mainly what we use the bed for, so it's ok! Lying down is super comfortable, back or side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Temper-Cloud in 2009. I loved sleeping on it all these years until I just replaced it with another Temper-Cloud. You will feel the support you need in the right places. Want a restful sleep, buy a Cloud, want to wake up without sore spots on your body, buy a cloud. It can be a big decision to spend this kind of money on a mattress....well, it will be the last mattress you will have to buy for years to come. I love mine

I've had this mattress for a little over a month and I would say this mattress is more medium-firm than medium. I had the original Tempur-pedic that was 20 years old and this is definitely firmer than that. With that being said, it's still an excellent mattress. What I have noticed is that my body seems to be more in alignment. When I first got the mattress, that night I laid on my back for the first couple of hours, then when I sat up, my back started clicking and cracking in alignment. Then when I turned over on my side, my hip clicked into place. Later my shoulder which has been hurting for over a year and a half, clicked in its socket. Then my neck clicked and then of all things my ankle. I guess I needed a firmer mattress all along. I also notice in the morning when I get out of bed my hip is not stiff at all. With my former mattress it took me a second to stand up straight and my hip would be stiff and painful. I thought it was just old age. Now when I get out of bed, I'm not stiff at all. As a matter of fact, my whole body feels like it's in proper alignment. I thought I was going to have to return this mattress for being too firm and upgrade, but after sleeping on it for a month this mattress seems to be working out well for me and I've decided to keep it.
