I owned a queen temperpedic version of this bed for 11 years and then decided to upgrade to this king hybrid version. I've never slept so badly in my life. I have terrible neck and back pain. We literally cannot make it another week in this thing. They don't make it clear either then to return it- you have to pay $175 so that's very disappointing. I was really sad this didn't workout.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great quality, however it's too soft for "medium"

Product arrived, unpacking was a breeze. The mattress itself has the Tempur-Pedic quality that we expected, however the "medium" cloud is much too soft, making it very difficult to get in and out of bed. Unfortunately due to surgery, we require a much firmer option that still provides the slight softness and coolness known to be experienced by this brand.

I purchased this mattress and loved it at first, unfortunately given the materials it grew mold. I live in California, plenty of sun and dry, the mattress is well ventilated and I have an air purifier in the room. The warranty does not cover mold so no replacement or refund from Tempur-Pedic. Their warranty does not "cover mold" however if you do a quick Google search you'll see a number of people with the same problem. My issues did not end there, their customer service representative named Marty was terribly rude and condescending. I have emails to prove this. Marty has even gone as far as answering my call when I am transferred to a supervisor, just to say this is Marty and hang up on me. I was in shock, they do not care about their customers. Mold is a serious issue and Tempur-Pedic has offered no assistance other than this direct quote from Marty's email: "We will not be offering any help regarding your mattress. This is my final communication with you regarding this matter." This came over 10 days after my first contact with Tempur-Pedic. Over $2,000 on a mattress, just to be told to throw it away and then get hung up on by their most "senior" customer service representative. Terrible experience.
