[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend convinced me to try another mattress that she liked very much--what a mistake that was. After a few years, out that went, and Iwas back in my temper pedic -- sleeping like a baby again!

Oddly I see a lot of other reviews mentioning this mattress is too firm-- I have the opposite problem and feel it does not support my spine enough and is too squishy. I had had high hopes for this mattress after a lot of research, but I wake up every morning with lower back pain regardless of the position I sleep in (side or back). It's honestly shocking how much this mattress just does not work for me, I clearly need something more firm or with more support. I will be returning this after about 30-40 nights of pain. I have had mattresses one third of the price that have been much better for me and my sleeping style.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed about 2 months ago, working very well. I did find it just a little too firm (I was using a 30 setting on a SleepNumber bed), so I added a 3" memory foam topper to it. Helped. My only problem seems to be the heat that memory foam is known for. With the topper, I can't judge whether the mattress itself would be cooler, but together - they are warm. Maybe I will be able to afford TempurPedics cooling topper someday - I think they have something like that. Shipping was amazing - very heavy but compact package. Poor UPS guy made it to the garage! Easy to unwrap (amazing amount of plastic) but it came off easily. Gave it 72 hours to come back - probably only needed 48. Moved easily on it's side and laid down nicely. Now we are waiting to see how it holds up over time. We are spinning it (top to bottom only) every month so hopefully that will lessen the eventual ruts all of our prior mattresses have developed.
