Great Cool Down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS 3 0R 4 WEEKS AGO AND JUST LOVE IT. MY ROOMMATE IS COLD ALL THE TIME AND I'M HOT. I LIVE IN VERO BEACH SO ITS VERY HOT MOST OF THE TIME. MY ROOM IS 11 X 12 AND THIS KEEPS IT VERY COOL AT NIGHT AT 68 DEGREES. ITS NOT VERY LOUD BUT I'M AM USE TO SLEEPING WITH A FAN. SO GLAD I GOT IT WOULD BUY AGAIN

Energy Efficient w/o Sacrificing Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this a/c a few weeks ago and so far it’s been great! It’s only May so I haven’t yet tested it through the hottest parts of a NYC summer. However, we’ve already had some pretty hot days and my room tends to get very very warm as it gets direct sunlight for most of the day and is very small with little airflow. I was surprised at how quickly this a/c was able to cool down the space and am impressed with it’s efficiency- it really only turns on when it needs to. I also love the remote! It tells you the temp of the room and you can set the a/c to adjust based on the temp of the remote. I like to put the remote in the warmest corner of my room furthest away from the a/c so that it cools down the entire room before shutting off. My only complaints so far is that it beeps really loudly whenever you press one of the buttons, which seems unnecessary. Also, the a/c itself is a bit louder than I expected.

Disappointed

It is a fickle machine. The remote has been stick on 84 degrees for weeks. There’s no way my bedroom is 84 degrees.
I don’t understand the purpose of the remote sensing doesn’t seem useful.
It’s very noisy and sometimes doesn’t get cool.

Cold and snappy!
