Handle too wide to slide on a carry on

Bought this a couple months ago. Just went on first trip. It worked out very well EXCEPT the handle is too wide to accept a carry on (or backpack). Have to see if I can find something that will slide onto this wider handle

I find the suitcase to be a decent one. The handle is sometimes a bit difficult to get up (though not to get down). I've taken it on two trips now, and it's held up so far. The rubs and stains garnered from being placed in airplane holds and airport conveyor belts came out relatively easily with some soap and scrubbing solution. I very much like the color, since it stands out, and it holds a lot of clothing and shoes, almost enough for a month in the Caribbean. I wish the pull-up handle worked better and wish that it's skin was a bit more impermeable.

Excellent travel glider!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This glider luggage is high quality and the perfect size. The outside is easy to clean and has 3 handles, one of them is retractable with adjustable height settings. The 4 swivel wheels work flawlessly and smooth on all surfaces. All of the zippers work extremely smooth as well. Each side unzips to a nice large compartment with one side being expandable. There is also a garment compartment and hanger loop, which I love using for my dresses so they don't get wrinkled! There are 5 separate zippered compartments that are nicely sized which makes organizing my items easy. One of the zippered pouches is a wet bag which is great for any toiletries or even damp swimwear. I love that it also has a lock on the outside to keep my items safe and secure!

I recently took this on a week+ vacation and absolutely loved it. I'm shorter so I appreciate how the handle height can be adjusted. And with this suitcase having a lower center of gravity, there was no way it was going to tip over! The different compartments for storage and organization of items made packing a breeze. This suitcase holds a TON! It got a bit scratched up on the airplane, but literally any suitcase will do that. The folks handling your luggage do not care about it.
The one con I'll say, which I think goes for any hard suitcase like this, is that it takes up a lot of room when unzipped. This is my first hard suitcase so I'm not used to that. It was much too big for a luggage rack, but the hotel I was at had a bench in the entry way of the room and the suitcase fit nicely there.

One of the wheel broke right in middle of my traveling with this brand new glider suitcase. Very poor manufacturing i believe. I have many other samsonite travel bags which are as old as 15 years and none of them had this issue. This one was very disappointing. Also i did not receive any warranty card.

I saw this was a common complaint and thought is would purchase a suitcase cover, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsonite 24” glider is perfect in every way! It’s a different shape than usual luggage but I was curious to give it a try. I’m thrilled with it! It’s loaded with pockets for everything and the shorter design is so easy to maneuver. It includes a spot for your Airbag tracker so you’ll always know where it is. The telescoping handle and wheels both work smoothly. I’m so happy with the quality and thoughtful design. This is my new favorite suitcase.
