Radio arrive as stated. I installed in a 2021 Gladiator. Installation was easy. I di have an issue with the microphone, called support and they sent a new microphone no problems.

The Midland MXT500 MicroMobile Two-Way Radio has been great so far! The components included were comprehensive, although I did not need some of them. The small antenna that was included was extra, because I purchased the 6db Gain Whip Antenna. The magnetic antenna mount was all not useable for me, since my Jeep is mostly plastic, ugh! I like the included microphone mount, it fit perfectly into the space on my dash where I wanted to mount it, and holds very well.
Performance of the radio is great! Loud and clear, and very easy to use, this radio is a big improvement over the handheld units we had been using (which we will continue to take, for when we leave the Jeep). The built-in speaker works great, it is very easy to hear and understand the transmissions as received. Install was easy and intuitive.
One negative for me is the channel change buttons on top, as I accidentally changed channels a couple of times and missed some comms from my group, but this is a very minor thing that just takes getting used to, so not really a big deal.
The only other negative is the high price. I feel that this radio is overpriced, but I did want to full 50 watts of power, so I went for it.
Overall, an excellent radio so far, and a nice upgrade for our Jeep adventures!

Solidly built and easy to install. I bought this to replace my handheld GMRS units when out on the trails, and have not been disappointed. Midland has the best reputation for a good reason!

Absolutely great GMRS only radio. I wish they would have opened up the RX channels to include more VHF channels. I get they want to keep it simple, but for the price, you should get more capability.
