Not what they used to be.

Replaced a Frigidaire Gallery Range with this model Sept 2024, old range was bought in the mid late 1990's. I also Have a Frigidaire refrigerator and clothes dryer. the New oven(FCRE308CASE serial # VF43012453 required a service call less than a year old to repair the front left burner after and electrical short circuit/Fuse that rendered that element inoperative. Two years to the date of delivery the same element now has lost power in and only functions at 30-50%. Told by store where purchased no longer under warranty contact repair company or Frigidaire - not impressed to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Stove for the money

Stove is great. First time buying a flattop stove. A little disappointed with the amount of maintenance required to keep the surface area clean. But overall good product.

Love this stove and would highly recommend!

My 16 year old Frigidaire stove had 1 front burner that would only work on high ( great for boiling pasta!} but when the other front burner finally started doing the same thing and AI said it wasn’t worth fixing we went to our local furniture store. Seeing as our last stove lasted 16 years of daily use we decided to stay wth Frigidaire. We looked at the comparable stove but right behind it was an upgrade stove. It was the right size plus it has airfryer and convection options.
So far we are loving it. Our favourite thing ( besides working front burners) is that the oven does not radiate heat into the kitchen while the oven is being used for baking. The glass window is actually cool to the touch!
It’s easy to use ( paper instructions are on our fridge with a magnet for reference )
My husband noticed that the broil function is super quick and cooked garlic bread quickly and evenly. I have baked a banana bread and a cobbler ( both gluten free) in the oven and they came out perfect using the time that was on the recipe.
Although we haven’t used the airfryer or convection options yet, we look forward to it when the upcoming holiday season arrives!

the stove Frigidaire FCRE308CAS appliance stopped working

the oven door is stuck open in a lock mode without even using the selfclean feature. I've tried everything to close to door power off the appliance, nothing works. The buttons are not responding.
