Over Arm Guide does NOT come with the tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the tool and when I opened the box and started laying out the parts, discovered the overarm guide was missing, or so I thought. After calling the company discovered that that, although pictured on all sides of the box and listed in the manual, it is NOT included with the basic tool, in spite of the fact that the attachment clamps for the arm are included and the vacuum adapter that only attaches to the overarm guide ARE included in the original packaging! Not only is it not part of the package, when I went on line to the web site to order and purchase one, it is not listed as an available accessory that can be purchased. After another call to the company, found that it is not available at this time. The saw does work well and performs quite well. As with any single ended unguided blade, one has to go slow and careful around tight curves to prevent the blade from angling out at the unguided end. Which is exactly why I wanted the overarm guide as pictured on the box! Other than that it is a fine replacement for a small bandsaw or a scroll saw. Unlike a scroll saw, with a starter hole, inside cuts can be made without without having to take the blade out.

I bought the Blade runner to use on my hobby. I build and fly Radio control airplanes, and using a full size table saw just doesn't work for me. With the Blade runner I can I can set it up and use it any where.

Pretty good saw!

So far I'm thinking it's a good gift... hahah I have used it several times now cutting some pvc for a gardening project and it worked great. I would definitely recommend buying the crosscut sled for it. Makes real straight cuts with the sled.

I had a small bench top band saw limited to wood only, not much leeway for longer pieces. The Blade runner is perfect, can cut other materials, longer pieces and even easier scroll work. Easy to use and change blades.

great all around workpiece,in a lot work situations. Quiet yet fairly powerful. Works best under 1-1/2" thick pieces.

This tool is easy and light weight. It gets the job done without the hassle of braking out a huge tool to get the job done. I'm able to leave it set up and available all the time instead of storing it away. Nice equipment, nice price.
