[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already have the 10" Worx Pole Saw and was looking for something that could handle the smaller branches and be a couple pounds lighter. I have a bad back and my standing can be challenging. I used this new 8" Worx Pole saw for the first time yesterday and it made my fall clean-up enjoyable and it's extremely easy to control once you get past 10 Feet. I Look forward to working on my next tree.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pole saw is a great addition you guys have add to or line. I’m disabled and I can’t. Use it it lite and stability is great and easy to use. Also when extend it out it is not top heavy.
A huge back-step from my previous Remington pole saw, whose pole cracked after 10 years. This Worx continuously leaks -- oil cap seems defective (a problem I've read elsewhere), and the original chain is cheap and dulls quickly (I have since replaced). Auto-tension is marginable at best. The pole itself i best feature but I have been underwhelmed. Still under warranty but impossible to reach a live person or even chat -- every time I try to reach during regular business hours (now it's weekeday at 1:30 pm), get "Call back" phone msg or "Chat Unavailable." Wouldn't buy a Worx again.

Thank you for your feedback and review! When done using the saw, and oil still left in the reservoir; Check to see that the chainsaw is stored upright position with the oil cap up. Ensure that the bar and chain are properly attached, and the saw is tensioned properly You can also try a thicker oil (thinner oils tend to work best with the auto oiling function). However, some dripping is normal when stored. A dull chain will cause undue sprocket, guide bar, chain, and motor wear. If you must force chain into wood and cutting creates only sawdust with few large chips, then the chain is dull and needs to be sharpened.
Check the condition of the guide bar each time the chain is sharpened. A worn guide bar will damage the chain and make cutting difficult. After each use, remove the battery pack, clean all sawdust from the guide bar, and sprocket hole. Keep chain sharp. Your saw will cut faster and more safely.

No oil was provided in the box so I was unable to use this tool after charging the battery. This is very poor packaging. Most people don’t keep chain saw oil on hand & you should have included a small bottle at least.

Hello! Thank you for choosing WORX and sharing your review with us. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Our WG349 Chainsaw does not come with oil, you may use any bar/chainsaw oil that can be found in your local hardware store.
Bought this for my dad because he is older and cannot handle a manual pole saw anymore. Does the job good but it is a little too heavy for him to hold up.

Recvd as a Bday gift (at my request) because the description stated: light weight, extends over 10 feet, ease of use all the things needed as a DIYer. However at 4’11 1/2” 107lbs it’s extremely heavy, hard to hold upright even w/o extension and the doggon chain popped off !!! Once unscrewed to put chain back on I apparently didn’t tighten screw as I thought! Now chain is off again screw is lost and pole/chain saw is useless !!! Even my brother (200lbs) says it was definitely heavier than he’d imagined.

Thank you for sharing your experience and review! When the chain comes off the unit, that is an indication the chain is not on the tool correctly. When you place the chain around the chain bar, please ensure the chain is going in the grove correct (as in picture A) in your manual. Then place the chain bar back on the unit and in (picture B2) with the extra chain go around the sprocket, and then pull the chain bar forward (with one hand) & place cover back on unit tightening the chain with saw. Please check your email as I have contacted you offline for further assistance.
