The Good and Bad

This does a very good job of sucking up large leaf piles and mulching into a bag.
Plus -- moves quite a bit of leaves; sucks into a trash can that you can put a trash bag in so that once it is full, you pull the bag and keep going; mulching turns large piles into a single bag of mulched leaves;
Minus - heavy; if you are mulching quite a few leaves, the unit get quite heavy (would have been better to have a shoulder strap); the hose between the mulcher and the trash can can get a little tangled during the process (not a huge deal breaker); the fact that you are tied to a trash can does make pickup up scattered leaves more of a challenge. The unit does come with a bag like the more portable option which helps and that bag has a shoulder strap for the bag (doesn't really help with the weight of the unit); unit does have a tendency to plug up a little at the intake with large piles. Takes a little effort to keep things flowing.

Very Heavy

After viewing woman using it on TV I then purchased it for my wife. Very Heavy. I guess I am back blowing again.

The Trivac weighs 9lbs. This is attributed to both the blower tube and vacuum tube being attached as one piece versus the need to switch out tubes. The weight of the bag with debris may also contribute to the extra weight. If it is being used as a blower, the bag does not need to be attached. This may lighten the tool and make it more manageable. Mulcher and blower

It is a hood blower. I already have a good one and battery not electric. I needed a mulcher and this is nit that good. One, it’s electric. Two, every twig gets stuck. Little ones.

Disappointed in the power

I thought I would be so happy with this product, but alas that is not so. Leaves are constantly getting stuck at the mouth of he vacuum causing you to lift it up and clear the blockage over and over again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mostly Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the trip vac for about a month and it is a good product that does three things well. It sucks( in a good way) well, blows well, and reduces leaves well.
A few down sides are the power cord you have to trail behind you and somehow they still manage to get stuck on everything. The weight. Compared to my Worx cordless blower this a heavy beast but not unbearable. The real pain for me is with the bag attached it’s a real pain as a tall guy to get the strap adjusted low enough to keep the bag under the vac. An extension on the blowing/sucking end would be great for us tall folks as I have to be bent over the whole time when picking up leaves. Not so much on blowing as the power is pretty good. Overall though I’m quite happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Nice versatility, but lacking on directed air flow

Bought this a month ago. Had a gas blower before. Vacuums up well. It may have 620 cam but because of the big throat, doesn’t blow as well. I’m going to give the cordless ones a try, as they seem to be engineered for blowing. I would recommend this for light blowing and heavy vacuuming.

First 2 years worked great third year something jarred in the tube inside. The blower broke trying to unblock it nothing worked just expected more life
