This is a serious blower/vac!

I got this kit a few days ago. The leaves are falling so wanted to I try it out immediately. I was impressed by the weight of the unit. The WG524 has a quality feel to it. I have another WORX blower that is battery operated. It does a great job but I decided on this new corded model to handle the leaf mulching and collection system. The air pressure generated seams significantly stronger than battery powered units. I opened the access panel used to clear clogs just to check out the impeller. It is heavy metal and should last for years. This is MUCH superior to other cheaper blower/vacs that have a plastic impeller. The unit has 2 speeds. If you're careful, you can use the lower speed to blow and mulch leaves from landscaping without disturbing wood mulch. The higher speed really moves the leaves along. It can discharge into either a detachable bag or through a leaf collection setup to a waste bin. I've only used the detachable bag so far but it collected a lot of leaves in very little space. The leaves are ground to small confetti size pieces. The rotating switch to go from blower to vac is such an improvement over the older systems. I'm looking forward to years of use.

Great yard tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have about 12 WORX tools in my garage. This trivac 12amp blower/mulcher/yard vac is by far the best of them all. spring and fall cleanup made easy. You blow the debrie into a corner hook up the leaf collector and vac with the yard vac it mulched and you can get two or three times the amount in the container and your done. No racking or bagging needed.

The same day it arrived on my porch I assembled it and put it to work Several years of leaves and dirt collecting my Dad's porch, walkway , and side yard. My Dad has been sick and has had several surgeries and more to come... so I came cross country to stay and help out. Serious neglect of the yard. After blowing the leaves off the deck I used the vacuum system to get the ones out of the corners. Believe me it was knee deep and piled about six feet wide. I used the collection system on the side of the house that has a walk way , the leaves were to thick to blow away. I had filled about three cans worth of mulch that I scattered into the yard. Then I used the blower to blow off the remaining leaves and the blower was powerful enough to blow off about two inches of dirt that was underneath! After that I had to stop to bring in a wood delivery to stack under the front porch. I used the blower to clean off all the bark splinters and blow them into the yard. I even blew off the wood stack. This is a work horse of blowers and vacuums. Tomorrow I am going to finish off the back of the house. I never realized the damage leaves can do if they are not kept under control. the wood deck started to decompose after years of being buried with leaves and moisture. Even rain gutters from not being cleaned out started to do a number to the wood and face boards and is pulling away from the house which also needs to be taken down and replaced. I see this 3 in 1 combo set and investment and insurance into protecting your home. Later on when I can back to work myself, I plan on replacing these gutters, porch deck , and siding the house. But one thing at time. From what I have seen around here leaves are destructive and adds to water damage and mold if you do not keep up on them. When they decompose, they will chew and eat and rot and decompose everything underneath them. I am now a WORX fan and can't wait to try out some of the other tools to attack this huge yard and trees and over growth. One day with this tool I learned the importance of keeping the leaves off and away from the house and I am sure glad I ordered this.

Bought this system a couple of weeks ago and it's helping keep the driveway and sidewalk very clean. Instead of just blowing the excess grass clippings into my yard, I have vac'd the clippings up, plus clippings from the 2 neighbors that just blow their grass clippings into the street. Highly recommend this product!

took it out of storage this year to work on leaves again this year and nothing !!!!!
position knob would not move and no power to blower. It has only been about a year and a half since purchased.. wrote works to resolve problem never heard back from anyone. I have purchased several products from them and I'm very satisfied with all of them. this one was a piece of junk though. do not recommend.

Awesome When It Works (Which Isn't For Long)

I want to start off by saying that I love the idea of this device and even enjoyed using it twice before it stopped working. It's great for consolidating large piles of leaves into a much smaller mass, though I'd prefer an attached backpack-type solution over dragging around a trashcan everywhere.
Regardless, this past weekend I was vacuuming up a pile of leaves and the device clearly wasn't working as intended, so I immediately turned it off. Apparently there was a small twig caught inside. To be frank, I don't expect a device of this cost or power to be able to handle wet wood/twigs per se, or at least I can understand it. I removed the twig from the device but the device refused to turn back on. If sucking up a twig in a leaf vacuum is literally going to break the device, even after it's immediately turned off and then the obstruction is removed, I would say the device is complete non-functional. Maybe it's a lemon, but unless the issue is resolved in some way I can't see myself buying a Worx product again, which sucks because the premise of this tool is so neat.

Fantastic Blower and Mulcher

I have used blowers and mulchers for 20 years. I received this one for Christmas in 2020. I needed to help an elderly neighbor that did not get his flowers and yard cleaned up in the fall. We had an enormous pile of debris. Twigs, plant stems and leaves. This mulcher did not hesitate on any of it. Other than sometimes the stems would get across the suction tube, I had no troubles. It was great being able to switch to a blower, regroup your pile and with a quick turn of the dial, quick hose connect, and you are back to mulching. Well worth the money.
