Great Timesaver / Easy to use

I bought the original model a number of years ago (about 5yrs ago? and it's still going strong) - to drill pilot holes and quick switch to driving screws without needing additional tool. I just bought the newest version (the last one on the shelf at a local retail shop 9-2025) because it appears to be 'out of stock' at Worx, and I was worried this would be discontinued - and I love the tool so much, and use it on most all of my projects (I make garden boxes / planters) - I wanted to have a backup just in case. Would I buy it again? well, I just did - even before needing it... so heck yeah. Would I recommend this tool ? Absolutely !

The ability to switch between drill and driver is a must have feature! I must have that. The LED light is icing on the cake, and easily changed drill bits and driver bits is a great big plus. The battery charge last much longer than expected, and the power exceeds what I expected. Great job!
What I do NOT like is that the switch between drill/driver failed after less than one year and the power switch grew less-and-less reliable until it completely failed.

Great tool, I wish it would have been available many years ago. Can’t tell you how many times I have had to change the bits from drill to driver while doing jobs. This tool allows you to drill pilot holes then drive without changing bits. Really good if you are on a ladder working. I did purchase a whole variety of bits and drivers for this tool as it has become a staple for me while working around my home.

I purchased this a few years ago for my husband (actually for me) I love the ability to switch from drill to screw driver, it is light weight and powerful!!! Batteries last a long time, really pleased with this product!!!

This drill is great for small/medium jobs around the home. It is amazingly convenient to switch bits so easily. I can drill the hole, then drive the screw, without fiddling with changing bits. You just squeeze, flip, and drill on.

My ex wife's dad let me borrow this tool for just one evening and I am amazed by the flexibility that this tool has and the feel of the tool in hand . Its well built , and it ran down fifty two inch wood screws. Without changing the battery pack. Going to pick one up payday.

reverse doesn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought almost every work power tool to replace all of my cordless equipment after my garage burned down. I bought 2 of the switchdrivers and both don't go in reverse. Maybe for a turn or 2 and then they it just locks. I was looking forward to this drill and it's useless without reverse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
