Beautiful speaker, incredible sound

I’ve had my Detroit for about a year, I bought it for my commercial bakery, and as I broke it out yesterday, listening to music all day it’s solidified why I chose klipsch, I have the bookshelf speakers for my high Fidelity turntable set up, and I also have their home theater system for my big screen downstairs both have subwoofers and both are amazing but this little speaker is something else, wide dynamic sound with deep thunderous bass

I've been playing this portable speaker for many weeks and now I'm ready to tell something about my experience.
First I have to say that, even though it remains portable, it's larger and heavier than I thought, but it's not a problem for me since I bought it to listen some music in my garden, so I don't have to carry it around on a regular basis.
The overall looking is very pleasant and the sensation is of a good built, durable and premium product. The rubber coating and the front grid with the Klipsch logo are solid; the adjustable belt is very comfortable, even if it partially covers the battery indicator.
The upper buttons are a little bit small in my opinion and they need a little prolonged pressing to operate.
Pairing with my smartphone was very easy and the signal is clear and stable even at long (for the bluethoot connection) distance. I didn't like the "flat" setting so I adjusted it to my liking in a few minutes with the Klipsch Connect app.
It came with less than half of the battery so I wanted to discharge it completely (which took about 8 hours) before charging it.
The entire recharge takes about 3 hours and with a use at various volumes, but mostly 50%, it lasts more than 20 hours which for me means more than a week.
When it comes to how it plays, guys this thig is literally a jawdropper! When I listen to it I keep wandering how can such crisp, clear, defined and POWERFUL sound come out of a small speaker. You can feel the bass in your chest. That's a beautiful peace of engineering!
Never forget that we are talking about a compact portable speaker but believe me, I've listened many of these devices, even those that are most blazoned, and this Detroit is second to none.
There's only one thing I can criticize and it's the volume control. It's set on a 10 level scale which makes it few granular, many times one is too low and the next is too high. If they made it on a 20 level scale would be perfect.

Not User Friendly.

NOT User Friendly. The speaker drops Bluetooth connection unexpectedly. Even if you are listening to the speaker and pause a song, or just go in and out of a store, you may need to reconnect it to the source.(phone) This thing is only useful if you don't pause or otherwise move away from it. Also, it shuts off way too early to (protect) the battery.

Horrible sound and bass

Sound cuts in and out on every song. Very poor volume and bass. Not sure if I got a defective model. Very dissapointed with Klipsch!

I am very happy with this speaker. The build quality is great. Compact and easy to carry with the strap. The sound is well balanced. The bass is way better than I expected for this size of speaker. Battery life is great. The app is a plus for controlling sound. It connects well with all my devices. I can’t find anything I don’t like about this speaker. Will probably buy another and pair together. Highly recommend the Detroit. Klipsch you did a wonderful job on this. Keep it up!

Tried to connect to a computer and it will not work. Put a ticket in with Klipsch they did not help much and are saying it is a computer issue. I tried multiple computers. Its a driver issue for Bluetooth.

The sound produced by the Klipsch Detroit is amazing. All of our home speakers are Klipsch, they never disappoint. My only complaint is the volume adjustment. There is a jumps between levels and no ability to fine tune it. It is often either a little louder or a little quieter than desired.
