The Best Bike Rack I have ever had

I needed a rack that supported my e-bikes from the base of the tires. This rack is the best I have ever had. It is easy to use, secure, and dependable. We have an investment in our bikes, and more rubbing and damage are occurring in transit.

This thing is a beast! Holds both ebikes, about 60lbs each, without batteries, and no issues. Will be using it on a long trip this September. Thule products are def high quality and reliable.

We’ve loved the upgrade to this rack! More secure, easier to set up, and a higher weight capacity. Fits our heavy fat tire e-bike with no issue. I recommend getting the light kit for visibility at night and adding the cable lock. We didn’t buy the ramp and it’s going just fine.

This is a quality bike rack and has a lot of great features. The only con is it doesn’t lock in the folded position. Without bikes on the rack you can’t drive with the rack folded up. The rack is either left down while driving or it must be removed. It’s a minor inconvenience. One would think for the price, this feature could be added. Fortunately the installation and removal is simple, but when traveling the track must be stored somewhere when not in use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Folding a solid platform rack like Thule Epos would limit visibility of the rear vehicle lights, license plate and rear windows on some vehicles. To ensure consistent safe operation for all compatible vehicles, Thule Epos should only be used in the "deployed" position, and removed from the vehicle when not in use. Integrated grab handles, transport wheels and small folded shape make it easy to remove it from the vehicle and store inside or in a garage when bike are not mounted.

Well made, solid, thoughtfully designed. Holds my Levo in a secure manner although they could have made the wheel platforms a little longer. The bike fits well but I am sure to make sure the wheels are positioned in a balanced manner for even distribution. Design allows for multiple points to secure it which is very helpful. Huge positive is that it folds up in a compact manner and is easy to store.

It’s basically all plastic. Hope it doesn’t break. The bike tire already broke a strap holder plastic piece when it hit it while loading. Not what I was expecting.
