Camera was easy to setup and when it has a full WiFi signal it works well. But…sometimes with a full signal and also I pay for the cloud service the videos say there was movement but you cannot view them. Kind of like they don’t store. It’s in the same location and setup as our older “ring” cam and we never had any issues with that one.

I replaced a Ring doorbell with this one. The price is right and the monthly fees are even more right. It does everything I want. I'll sell my Ring online and be money ahead. I've recommended it to a friend.
The video works great, but there is no way to discern between a motion event and someone ringing the doorbell on the phone. You get the same notification sound. The chime remote doesn't work well with older wall chimes.

Chime is horrible, i love the camera but the chine is not loud at all, it isnhooked up correctly and you cant wven hear when someone dings the bell. Ive had tech help and it is connected correctly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello, if you would like to adjust the volume of your Wyze Chime please follow these steps:
In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Video Doorbell. Tap on the Settings icon on the top right. Tap Accessories > Chime > Tunes. Next to Volume, tap and drag the slider. Your changes will save automatically, and your chime will sound so you can confirm the volume level.

I first have to say, I am a stronger enthusiasts of all things Wyze for two good reasons - great price point and great design. Now to the Video Doorbell V2 - cool design, but it took a lot of back and forth with the tech team to make the chime controller to work.
This product needs a lot of improvement - like making it easier for the controller to activate a home chime box. It also needs a chime extension.
The bell controller does not work, after hours of trying, I realize the doorbell did not needed a controller. Limited recording, no options even with a SD card installed. Detection area does not work on any of my 5 cameras. 95% of the notifications are false alarms.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased 2 of these to replace my Ring doorbell cameras. All around impressive! The 2K resolution is nice but the main reason for change is Wyze Cam Plus unlimited. I already was paying for this service so adding the Wyzecam doorbell V2 was a “ “No Brainer”. Very happy!
