Finally an affordable option for a smart doorbell with both SD card recording and the ability to use your existing chime. Only negative: I’m not sure why we’re not getting any motion based events with our cam plus account on this device.

I like the new features of the doorbell and clarity of picture plus SD card is another bonus. However, i would have like for the door bell to still have the chime box just like the first one. It is a better option for me when it come to sound and clarity of the bell sound.

This has a lot of the great features of a doorbell costing 5 times as much. Great picture quality and nice wide angle lens that allows you to see more. Much improved speed for connection and for 2 way talk feature. The speaker is louder so finally, maybe the person at the door can hear you. Also the SD slot is a great added feature, although where it was placed on the doorbell is strange allowing easy access for a would be thief..!

The Wyze Video Doorbell is a great product. They make installation easy and has many features. It can ring your existing chime, notify you when someone approaches, and two way intercom. And it's nice looking as well.

I purchased 2 of these to replace my Ring doorbell cameras. All around impressive! The 2K resolution is nice but the main reason for change is Wyze Cam Plus unlimited. I already was paying for this service so adding the Wyzecam doorbell V2 was a “ “No Brainer”. Very happy!

The bell controller does not work, after hours of trying, I realize the doorbell did not needed a controller.
Limited recording, no options even with a SD card installed.
Detection area does not work on any of my 5 cameras.
95% of the notifications are false alarms.
