The new doorbell is a great upgrade. Very high definition, very pleased with this upgrade. Much better than the original doorbell. Definitely worth the money. I will plan on upgrading all my cameras.

This is so easy to set up ! Being a 77 year old widow it gives me a sense of security even when I am not home I can see if someone is on my porch. I can even talk to them! They have no idea if I am home or not.
An OK video doorbell, but needs installation instructions. Not better installation instructions, just some instructions to get started. It is just a box of parts. Not even a little slip that says "go to this website to install". Its "you figure it out". Hint. Install the Wyze Labs app and go from there. It would be nice if it said that somewhere. Once it is installed, it seems to work well. Still trying to figure out some features. No surprise, not a lot of instructions for features. Maybe only for Gen XYZ.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve purchased 3 video door cameras They have all had cloudy video which made it difficult to view images. Two had battery issues and one quit communication with my server

1. Cloudy Video Make sure the Wyze app and device firmware are updated. Check the lens for any plastic film and gently clean it with a microfiber cloth. If night vision looks hazy, open the live stream and tap the moon icon to switch between Auto / On / Off. If needed, restart the camera from Settings > Restart Camera or perform a factory reset and set it up again.
2. Battery / Power Ensure the device is receiving the proper power (16–24V AC if wired). Double-check wiring connections or power cycle the device by disconnecting and reconnecting it.
3. Connection Issues Confirm Wi-Fi signal strength near the doorbell and restart your router if needed. Restart or reset the doorbell and reconnect it in the app. If the issues continue, we’d be happy to take a closer look. It’s constantly disconnecting and I have tried uninstalling it completely, restarting, etc
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 4 interior camera and the lightbulb camera and a ring bell. The ring was 3 yrs old and kept having issues the whole time . Even replaced once under warranty.. decided to wyze doorbell and have my house totally wyze and I'm very pleased with my choice not works great and love having all my cameras in one app!!
Nice upgrade from my 1st gen, more reliable recording and playback plus a memory card, and it let me use my old doorbell again! Lots of wins so far, oh and it can do a default announcement that you’re being recorded or a sound to bring it to your attention.
