For anyone that is upgrading from the original Wyze doorbell. This DOES NOT work with chime box. I found this out the hard way. My work around was to use my Echo to announce the doorbell. The picture quality and viewing angle make this trade off worth it for me.

No way to lock the doorbell down so someone can just take it.
Memory card on the side, once again so someone can just take it

The Doorbell works great - the chime controller was convoluted to get working. The provided instructions did NOT work, I ended up getting a wiring solution that worked by searching the internet.

Great device, but setup needs a little help

New Doorbell v2 is much better than the original. Higher quality video, cleaner and sharper appearance. Biggest issue I had was during installation. Instructions should include that if the chime does not ring, to try the alternate wiring method that support provided me. Also, firmware update should not prompt until after chime type is selected. This also caused quite a bit of confusion.
