Doesn't work with Wyze chime, which was obvious based on the product description. The chime controller doesn't work with existing chim likely due to insufficient transformer. Would have been nice to know before purchasing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have to reinstall my old chime. Was expecting to be able to use the same plug in chimes the original has. I do like sd card compatibility.

Great doorbell but doesn’t work with the Wyze Chime so upgrading from V1 was difficult. Also makes no sense- why make a chime that doesn’t work with your other doorbells.

This new unit has a broader (fish eye) view which helped where I had to mount it. The view is still exceptionally clear. My ONE "complaint" is to PRINT a wiring diagram in tge instructions. The video and vocal description was too confusing to understand. I finally found a YouTube presenter who had the same confusion so he posted the proper wiring in video which solved by issue. The door bell now works correctly. Also, the SD card slot could have been on the rear not the side. The advantage to the side is easy retrieval, but too easy to be stolen.
