The software/app encourages you to get a subscription. Even if you have an SD card, it's awkward to view the videos without a subscription. I wanted to have as few subscriptions as possible. I thought having and SD card will make the subscription unnecessary.
Another issue is this 5 minute cool down "feature". I supposed it's ok, just when you're testing the doorbell during installation, you can't test it easily.

Very nice unit, the instructions were very good regarding requirements for voltage and VA rating. I replaced my 40 yr old 10V 5VA bell transformer with a 16V 30VA unit and worked like a charm. Note: I am an electrician, please be cautious doing this yourself because the transformer upgrade involves dangerous voltages. The doorbell however is easy, just shut off the power, hook up two wires.

Fine except chime doesn’t work. Regardless of connections and troubleshooting the chime controller fails to work. Feels like this product isn’t ready for prime time. Hope they come up with a solution.
