Doorbell works great! It’s nice to have the ability to use the wall chime again (not available in V1). And the SD card has already come in handy (neighbors car window was broken in the night. Camera didn’t record event but I was able to go back and find/save footage for the police report). Worth the upgrade from V1 at this point.

Definitely better than the v1 of the doorbell as far as quality goes. The instructions were not great. When wiring the chime device, the included instructions mention it, but don't actually have instructions. Logging into the app, there were better instructions, but ultimately I needed to upgrade my transformer to something more powerful. I didn't have this issue with the v1. Overall, once I got it figured out and installed, I like it.

PRO: picture quality is excellent, full screen video covers an impressive area of view from near to far, network connectivity is robust, can store videos locally on microSD.
CON: Apparently incompatible with WYZE Chime (used with original WYZE doorbell), does NOT document a minimum power requirement to operate wired mechanical chimes of >10vA except in troubleshooting instructions buried in online document. As-received, will not ring any chimes anywhere inside my house unless I buy and install a stronger transformer.

The doorbell was super easy to install. The instructions via the app were very thorough. The picture quality is excellent. I cannot wait to see how well it work in the dark. The chime keeps its original sound, but my phone now alerts me to someone on the doorstep, and a picture is snapped when someone pushes the doorbell. Turning on the app and selecting the doorbell, you get a real-time video of what the camera can see. What a great buy! Thanks Wyze!

Doorbell works great with existing mechanical doorbell. Instructions should include the fact that even though doorbell is direct wired you need to wait for about a half hour after installing before the mechanical doorbell will work. That was a frustrating lesson learned from another user with same issue. Love the fact there's an SD card. Very clear pic.

barely an upgrade to my Google Nest Hello Gen1. my main gripes are the microSD card slot being exposed (why not put it behind the unit?), and the unit not being secured (someone could walk up with no tools and slide it right off). other than that, the extra resolution is nice, but would've preferred more vertical coverage (so I can see packages) than the ultra wide horizontal coverage (that's what the regular cams are for). lastly, the mounting plate is a little flimsy so even slightly uneven stucco made it difficult to snap the doorbell on.

Quality Good, Security lacking,Constant ad pop ups

Easy to install and set up. Clarity is good but sound is lacking. Device does not lock to the wall. Even though there is onsite storage the SD card is accessible to anyone, and I am constantly bombarded by ads and pop ups to subscribe to their service which I do not want. Very annoying.
