This video doorbell takes you back to analog doorbell. It is a big failure. I had to return 3 of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My review will always be when you need extra set of eyes 👀 call wyze and I can't honestly say because I haven't tried the doorbell or pan because I'm still in shock over 2.5 k color night vision like some military grade shizt😂
I currently use the original Wyze doorbell which has the user remove their door chime and use the plug-in supplied. I can use this new one only by creating a routine in Alexa when the doorbell is pushed a notification is sent through the speaker of my Alexa. It seems like some ding dong did not think of current users who now do not have their old hardwired door chime. I do like the SIM card, the better picture and everything else about it, but feel forgotten because I bought the first version.
cuts off and wont automatically reload when I reopen the app to view the video despite having solid power supply and a good wifi connection. I'm required to "restart" the camera everytime I want to view my front door live video, otherwise it continues to fail to load the live video feed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would recommend power cycling the doorbell by flipping the breaker power the doorbell to its “Off” position, waiting 10 full seconds, then flipping the breaker switch back to the “On” position. I changed from a ring doorbell to the WYZE version 2 doorbell and I am very happy I did. The new version 2 is much easier to install and I find the interface on the new app even easier to use.
I have to say it has become one of my guilty pleasures. I enjoy using the app with the doorbell and monitoring traffic in front of my door.
