Kevin installed it yet as I thought it was battery operated. You know like a ring but no I have to hardwire this. 😞 I should have read further.

Had to replace our non-Wyze video doorbell that had failed. Since all other security at house was Wyze, we decided to go with the v2 version + Chime controller. Installation went well, but Chime controller does not work. Existing transformer is above suggested spelcifications. Thought the external chime accessory would work, but the two are not compatible. Additionally, doorbell does not trigger Alexa as expected. Very unhappy and do not recommend it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Video and operation are great. Docked one star because there isn't any mounting security feature and the SD card is easily taken. The Ring doorbell this replaced has a torx head screw to lock the doorbell to the mount.

Tried all selling can't get the door bell to work. Verified wiring, test door bell with out V2 wyze door bell and it works fine. Disappointed. But addition of SD card slot is nice
