It works as advertises EXCEPT that it will not work with my existing doorbell (as it's advertised to do). Apparently many many others have the same unresolved issue. So u have to link it with Alexa to hear the doorbell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value video bell. I like that this has SD card storage. I had to change to a 24V transformer to get the mechanical chime to work. I wish that this doorbell would work with the Wyze chime
Doesn’t ring the physical doorbell or have a chime with it so my echo has to announce doorbell presses. Not sure it was a good upgrade from v1 that i loved and never had issues with.

Great camera video quality on this new camera and better sound quality! The down fall is the chime doesn’t work it’s no good at all so you can’t hear you doorbell. Had to use my old nest chime controller to get it to ring.
Better than Ring and I like the Micro SD card functionality. Glad that it comes in the black color. Needs to come with a chime like the first version. Newer homes may not have a chime already installed.
Great Doorbell Cam, but the chime issue is a pain.

Love the doorbell. Had the Doorbell Cam Pro which was also great, and kind of think did I make the right choice. Don't get me wrong Doorbell V2 is great, but the chime issue wasn't present with the Doorbell pro cause it integrated with a separate chime box included. I would rate 5 stars if they updated the firmware to be used instead of my original Doorbell chime, or had the option to choose.
I’ve been upgrading all my tech items with Wyze products as they come out and this was the first doorbell that I thought was worth replacing my Ring doorbell I’ve had for 3 years now. Really like the quality ands simplicity. Works great! Thanks Wyze!!
