Great door Bell, motion detection is fantastic. Very little if any phantom motion detection. Excellent picture quality, and the voice communication aspect is very clear. Love this thing. This is my 3rd door Bell from 3 different popular companies.

Very easy to install - dimensions are quite different from original Wyze Video Doorbell. I had to make a small wooden block mount to get it to mount properly between the screen door and wall around door jamb. When using the wedge it pushed the doorbell body in front of the screen door - allowing the screen door to close on the doorbell. Had to remove it and build out the frame to make it work with the tight space on the condo install. It paired well, has good video quality and I like the SD card slot for 24/7 recording.

Unit requires more than 10 volts to operate….for doorbell applications that utilize a security system typically have voltages less than 10 volts. This could be fixed for their battery operated units to include a simple on/off circuit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far it's great! Quick to load and I love having local 24/7 recording.
The only think I would like to see different is a metal mounting bracket but only because mounting on my brick wall the plastic bends a bit because the wall isn't flat. I had to shim things with washers.

The doorbell works great once fully installed--which included doing things that aren't in the installation directions but that I found from reviews from other buyers. I followed the steps exactly, then when the chime in the house didn't work, I uninstalled the chime controller that was the first step of the installation. Once that was done, it worked perfectly!

I have installed the original v1 for my in-laws and thought this is good. So now I needed to replace a Outdoor cam and decided to go with Doorbell V2 for a replacement. Was not disappointed. This was easy to install and worked right away with great quality. The only complaint is I could not get it to ring my old mechanical doorbell ringer which for me is not a big deal as with it not ringing will keep the dogs from barking.

Relatively easy to install and use. Clear image. Haven't used any voice aspect yet. Would like to see a way to ensure the unit is less easy to remove. Simpli safe has a retainer "screw" in the bottom of the unit to lock it onto the mount.
