Installed the doorbell no problem. Went to connect to Wi-Fi and it wouldn’t connect. Checked voltage and it was 15.6 v at doorbell. Ordered a multi voltage transformer . Installed it and still would not connect. Found out my wireless router had issues. Replaced it and the doorbell connected with no problem .

The image provided by the Wyze Video Doorbell v2 is crystal clear. The 135° wide field of view affords a sense of security & monitoring from any location. I've only installed one of the two I purchased as of now, but I'm anticipating equal satisfaction from both once the install & pairing is complete.

Needs an improved backing plate. I have a Florida home that is stucco style outside.
I couldn’t mount the camera to the flimsy backing plate on the uneven wall surface.
Ended up making my own more rigid plate and mounting the cheap one to it.

Overall a good product. Would have liked a thicker mounting plate to clear the wires and a more secure attachment so no one can just lift it off and walk away with it. Was thinking of putting a screw at the top as a stop to prevent it. I upgraded from the entry level but I lost the connect ability to the receptacle plug in chime I already purchased. Now I have to wire it into a chime (good thing I have one)

My only issue is with installation. My existing chime doesn't always work with the chime adapter provided. Plus the chime housing is too small to hide the adapter so it hangs outside of it. It is however a 16v chime and there is a note in the instructions about 16v being a bit low. I did tell the doorbell to use one of my Wyze cams as a chime.sometimes the Wyze cam chimes for several seconds after releasing the doorbell. Otherwise it works great, great video and detection
