I had an earlier model Ring which I replaced with Wyze. Big improvement in connectivity, reliability and image quality. Love the HD card which can record without a monthly subscription. Only problem I’ve run into is getting it to ring my wired inside doorbell, that is still problematic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to change mounting from v1 to v2 the chime adapter never worked can not get alexa to veiw camera.

Good quality camera, but needs to be adjustable

Works good, but you can’t see packages on the porch. The camera itself needs to be adjustable up and down. I get a great picture of the chandelier hanging on my front porch, but can’t see a package sitting on my porch. I thought about shimming it but it would take a massive shim to get the camera pointed where I need it.

It looks great and is at a great price point. I wish the camera and SIM card were secured and protected. I do have security concerns due to the ability for someone to easily take the camera with my packages by pushing it up

Another great product from Wyze….almost! Camera looks great and installed easily, image is clear with a nice field of vision and connects to my phone quickly, however, the door chime function does not work at all. I even bought a new chime but same problem. All wired correctly and doorbell works fine without the camera installed but wire the camera up and door bell stops working. Having tried to find a solution on line this seems to be a very common problem suggesting to me that the camera was released with out being properly tested or ready. At least it rings on your phone to let you know someone is at the door but no use for people in the house without the app signed into your account.

Great value. Like that it uses my old door chimes. The SD card option was what sold me. Maybe having the card slot on the bottom would have been more hidden, but I just put some black electrical tape over it to conceal it. I mounted mine on a block to get it away from the brick around my door and put a plate above it to make it harder for someone to remove.
