Had to replace the terminal to be able to use. Also can't use the speaker (chime) from V1 door bell. also have to pay monthly fee to even get a notification when someone one rings the bell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Install was easy. The install uses existing wire to provided power to the camera. The chime controller included, allows for operation of the existing internal door chime. Easy to follow install instructions are found on the mobile app. A clear wide angle picture when camera is viewed. When the door chime is activated, a simple one touch button appears on your phone to start two way communication
Field of view cannot see packages on the ground under the doorbell. Web view application is unreliable Does not ring my indoor mechanical chime (worked fine before installing this) Does not integrate with Google Home (recognized, but will not stream) Does not integrate with Amazon Alexa (recognized, but will not stream)

It seems to be a little slow with notifications. The video quality is great. I wish there was a separate notification in the app because I get the same motion sound when the vacuum is done cleaning or stuck or whatever. I also like to use it with Home Assistant but options are limited compared to the Ring doorbell. With Ring, there was a motion detected event that would fire and I could use it as a trigger for something else. Also, there is no way to mute or snooze motion notifications. When I'm working outside my house, I constantly get notifications and no way to stop it unless I turn it off or cover the camera.
This new unit has a broader (fish eye) view which helped where I had to mount it. The view is still exceptionally clear. My ONE "complaint" is to PRINT a wiring diagram in tge instructions. The video and vocal description was too confusing to understand. I finally found a YouTube presenter who had the same confusion so he posted the proper wiring in video which solved by issue. The door bell now works correctly. Also, the SD card slot could have been on the rear not the side. The advantage to the side is easy retrieval, but too easy to be stolen. I have several Wyze products, they all function exceptionally well.
You should provide us a connection drawing of the chime controller. as some of us are capable of making other connections to light relays, ect. Thanks.
