It works as it should. It is nice to be able to keep the bolt locked yet have easy entry into the house with just a touch and not have to carry keys around. We have young toddling grandchildren that often go to the door to exit the house when we are distracted or one a little older that thought it was funny to lock Grandma out of the house. No problem now. We had friends whose house was burgled when they were in the back yard. All these risks are now easily remedied by keeping the door secure a majority of the time. Just remember it does not come with a matching door knob and is only controlled by your phone when it is in bluetooth range.

I bought this to replace a Schlage deadbolt keypad / key lock. Never needed the key, but it was a nice safety backup. So, I was worried about not having a key back up. So far so good. Have not missed the key.
The Wyze deadbolt was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly for several months. Like being able to use the fingerprint or passcode to enter. Like being able to easily make a code for the dog sitter. The one Improvement I would suggest would be the ability to enable and disable a particular code as needed for people who only have temporary access from time to time.

Worked better than the WYZE lock - where I had more connectivity issues. Lock bolt did have trouble with 2 locks close together had to re-learn one unit. It would be nice if an approved user you shared with could send a onetime emergency code to someone
