I have been through two digital keypad dead bolt systems over the past few years, and they burn through batteries, and they were a pain in the butt to change the batteries. I did my homework this time around and WYZE came out as our top choice. It was easy to install, and battery change out is a breeze. The fingerprint scanner is awesome, and the deadbolt works so smoothly. The wife and I really love this deadbolt and we are glad it's a WYZE product. Easy was to connect to my WYZE app and it also looks great. Thank you WYZE for making another great product.

Love the bio-metric unlock feature, but this lock feels like two steps forward and one back, because unlike the previous Wyze lock, it doesn't recognize when the doo is ajar and will close the lock anyway leading to unnecessary and awkward dents in the door jam when the door is closed later.

When I saw the price on this lock, I was a little skeptical. The reviews convinced me to give it a try. Well, installation was a breeze. It's been 3 months now and I am amazed that the fingerprint reader works 1st time every time! The mobile app makes it easy to setup fingerprints, adding users, codes for users, deleting users and much more. Don't hesitate, an electronic smart lock like this will only increase in price as more people flock to purchase.

The hole in the standard door doesn’t accept the bolt and must be made larger. Use the template and it is easy but must be cut for most standard deadbolt openings
