Great product for the $$. Fingerprint and key pad work great. Have had mine installed since 5/1 and battery life is still 100%, and this is our main door. Auto lock feature is pointless in my opinion. Lock will auto lock even if the door is left open. Wyze needs to better and find a way for auto lock to know when the door is shut vs. open. Turned feature off. Install was very easy with all parts included.

I really wanted to have a door that could be opened without a key. The ones I kept finding used your phone to auto unlock or lock. I really did not like that idea and just wanted something that could use a code. This is a very basic but I love it! It was easy to attach to my door and setup in the app. I was able to share the lock with my partner through the app. We each have our own four digit pin along with finger print ID.
I currently have this on our back patio door as its a covered area and I figured it would be a good spot to have this lock. The great thing is the door does lock after 10 or 15 minutes and the finger print reader works perfectly. When the door cannot lock (door not fully shut), the lock will try a few times to complete the lock series and when it cannot it will beep a few times.
The downside, when the lock cannot lock it only beeps a few times but I really wish it would notify me via my phone. Second, I wish you could schedule times for when the door would auto lock. During the day we come and go out the patio door and it would be nice to have it just stay unlocked all day, then at 10PM it would go back to the auto lock feature. This is honestly the only bad thing I really have to say about it, but if I put this on a garage door it really wouldn't be an issue.
You can also schedule four digit codes for guest to use to get into the house. You do not need to be connected to the lock and you can be anywhere you have internet. This is great for when a friend needs to come over and check on your house or you need to let someone in and you are not around.
I'm debating on getting a second one for our garage door since we really like this one a lot. I would recommend this lock if you just need something basic or you do not want one that auto unlocks like the other wyze lock.

The lock seems to have trouble remembering fingerprints. Also, I didn't realize that it connected via Bluetooth rather Wi-Fi (my baf).

This is a great product. Easy to set-up and use. Using your finger print as a key is amazing. I wish it had the other functionalities as the other lock like Auto Unlock. Over all I love it.

It would be better if the mechanical is strengthen further. The main bolts are significant smaller than the original deadbolt’s. Also Bluetooth sync takes awhile. Understand the power consumption constraint but perhaps you can leverage NFC and offer that as another way to unlock (via a phone).
