The Wyze Lock Bolt has been great so far. Out of the box it has a very solid feel to it, and looks nice. The finger print reader works great and we have had no problems with it not reading our finger, I have all 4 family members programmed in to it. I'm 50/50 on it not having wifi, it would be nice to be able to tell if the door is locked or not if I'm not home, but I also like knowing if my windows are open someone can't just yell something like "ok Google unlock front door". Overall I'm very happy with the lock, and being able to plug a battery pack into it if the batteries die is a nice back up plan.

Ease of setup and use makes this a great backup when your wifi is down and you can't use your door lock that is wifi controlled - this simple deadbolt lock stores fingerprints and keypad data inside - not in the cloud and touching the pad scanner is simple - similar to the gun safe its instantaneous action allows for quick and easy access to an otherwise unusable entry way when your wifi is down - without other backup solutions this is a must have! Highly recommended!

Overall, I think it is great. 4 star because the mechanism inside the house is all black (ok with that) but the position of the locking knob is very hard to see in low light to glance at to see if it is locked. Also, the screws connecting the outside to the inside plate are significantly lighter weight than the ones for the deadbolt I was replacing (maybe not important).

It's well made but the poor fingerprint detection and lockout after too many attempts is a terrible combination. Get a better sensor, my last four phones unlocked far more reliably.
