No smart lock resolved the weather strip issue yet

The lock is great and does everything as intended. However, many door systems generate a little push back (from weather stripping) onto the door resulting in lateral force applied to the deadbolt. I was expecting the deadbolt/strike plate provided to address the problem as it makes smart locks useless. I guess its either or: tight seal or smart lock.

It’s a great lock that I like having it on the same app as my security camera. Wish it came in silver and they didn’t charge for shipping. Wanted to purchase a second one, but wasn’t looking to have to pay again for shipping

Great product! I wasn’t sure to expect because I have the first edition of the door lock. With the new version, the finger sensor works perfectly, the outside keypad sits snug against the door preventing leaks. The internal lock is built more stable than the previous version. The only two additions they could make is to have a notification or status display in the app to say lock or unlock without having to select the lock. The second addition is to have the ability to use a key. Looking to buy another one.
