Another great Wyze product

Pros: The lock was packaged well and the instructions included were easy to understand. I had not swapped out a smart deadbolt before but removal of old and installing new was easy because the instructions was clear and concise. Once installed it has been working well and as with all Wyze devices, it was simple to add to the app.
Cons: while this lock works as described it would be nice if it was WiFi capable. This model is Bluetooth so you don’t have functionality to close remotely if out of blue tooth range. If you forget to lock your door. It stays unlocked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great upgrade but not perfect

Fingerprint sensor is awesome. Bluetooth connectivity is not great and takes a while to connect, even when within range. But it's great to have when it works. I was hoping I could reliably check lock status of my doors at night without getting out of bed to check manually. Maybe it's interference from having 2 wyze bolt locks. Maybe it's too many smart home devices or maybe it's our old house with many walls. Auto lock programming is nice so I don't have to deal with annoying auto lock during day time hours. Would be nice if there was a continuous alarm to alert when lock is jammed so can correct problem (for those of us with imperfect doors).

Good but needs better integration with Alexa

Easy to install and it works really well. Great for households with kids. Alexa recognizes the device but can’t control it. The automation needs a bit more work.

Auto Lock Feature is Buggy

This product is well made and easy to install. It works well with the Wyze app and does just about everything that it advertises to do. The one feature that I found that does not work is the ability to auto lock the door after a period of it being unlocked. If you specify a time window for this feature not to be enable it fails to work. For example if you don't want the bolt to auto lock from 8am to 8pm and the door is unlock during this period it will not auto lock after 8pm. Too bad this was the feature I was most hoping for.

At first I was a bit intimidated by it thinking that the installation was going to be complicated, but I was so wrong! The installation was super easy, I was able to do in about 15 minutes total. The lock is sturdy and has a beautiful modern look. We’re very happy with it! We love not having to worry about taking our keys out when we get home - our fingertip is all we need. We also have it autolock every 15 minutes which is great for our peace of mind. Not sure how long the battery lasts, it is still going with its original batteries.

Disappointing. No wifi no door open detection.

I was disappointed. They crippled this otherwise brilliant idea by leaving out WIFI.
The keypad is excellent and works well. The lock also does NOT detect whether the door is ajar.
SO. I am ditching this unit for a Wyze Door Lock. I had such high hopes too.
The deadbolt is well made and installs easily enough.
But add some way to connect to the wifi network. Maybe make a BT/Wifi bridge for it, don't know. But without connecting it to the app so I can open it remotely, etc, its usefulness is limited.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks Great, Less Features

This bolt looks great and the finger print reader is very convenient. But this product lacks the features of the Wyze Lock (Open door detection, take out the trash, etc.) so, for example, if you leave the door open the app can't detect this and will engage the lock (if that option is enabled). I am hoping that the features from the Wyze Lock will be added. Overall I feel like I made a bad downgrade to get a better aesthetic look at my front door.
