I bought these thinking I could save some money and switch to a newer company like Wyze. The product installed perfectly, then I left my house feeling it was secured. All the locks have gone offline and so has the security hub. So I need to drive back to the property to restart everything I hope. There should be some remote reset feature or something built into the firmware to restart when it’s disconnected for so many hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this once my wyze lock stopped working after 2 yrs. The inital bolt was defective. Took over 2 wks to get a replacement. Finally got a working one and it is great. Dont have to carry keys around again.

Love our newest Wyze product. Looks great, easy to install and we love the fingerprint unlock. Works great for me but my husband has a harder time as he works with his hands where calluses amd cuts can interfere. So he just uses his code.

I purchased this to replace a Yale lock that we were having some issues with. The install instructions were very clear and I was able to remove the old lock and install the new one in about 20 minutes (I do have considerable experience changing out locks so it might take longer for most people). Like all Waze products, the setup was super easy. Within a couple minutes it was up and running. Thumbprint setup worked great. We like the auto-lock feature and the keypad buttons are much nicer than the Yale lock. The only comment my wife had was that it would be nice if it came with a key backup option in the event that something were to go wrong with the electronic lock. But overall this is a great lock for a great price. Highly recommend.
