Fingerprint entry

The fingerprint entry code does not stay retained in the unit. I have to keep re-entering a code and it only works for 10 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fingerprint works almost instantaneously...so much better than the Kwikset I replaced it with...and it works with my iPhone app as well. (only BT). Very happy with device. Was super easy to install also!

This is a really great lock. The instructions are easy to follow. The hardest part is removing the locks. I replaced three old locks with these. I love the easy access with a fingerprint and not having to worry about keys. Keep in mind that these are for only a certain side of the door. I have one of the three doors that opens the other way so I installed this upside down. It’s. It a big deal since it’s a door that’s rarely used but it did take me a minute to figure out what to do once I noticed that it won’t work going the other way. The only other downside is that two of the three I’ve had to re-pair with my phone. They would still operate but they wouldn’t connect with the phone. Not a huge deal. A minor annoyance is that not all the events are captured in the app. For example, I know I used the lock a few times this morning but the app doesn’t reflect those times in the history. I don’t know why that happens.
But the pros greatly outweighs the cons. So easy to install, so easy to use and the price is right. Love it!
