This is the second Wyze lock bolt I have purchased, that should tell you what I think of this product. It works as advertised, the ability to control the lock from the app is wonderful, and the installation was very easy. The first was installed on a brand new and was done by the installer, the second was on an existing door and I did the installation, anyone with basic DYI skills can put the lock in and program it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works great when it does. The housing feels like cheap plastic and not very sturdy. One lock is positioned maybe three feet from the router, and we still have connection issues. The other can't connect via the app nearly at all.

Pros: The lock was packaged well and the instructions included were easy to understand. I had not swapped out a smart deadbolt before but removal of old and installing new was easy because the instructions was clear and concise. Once installed it has been working well and as with all Wyze devices, it was simple to add to the app.
Cons: while this lock works as described it would be nice if it was WiFi capable. This model is Bluetooth so you don’t have functionality to close remotely if out of blue tooth range. If you forget to lock your door. It stays unlocked.

Simple to install operates flawlessly. Not fumbling for keys is great and I haven't lost my fingerprint lately. Really beats fumbling for keys. The code is great. I haven't tried any special access codes or loaned my fingerprint to anyone so not much help there.

Please ensure the auto-lock setting within the Wyze app is enabled and that disable during hours is not set to the time that Wyze Lock Bolt is set to auto-lock. You will know you are connected to your Wyze Lock Bolt if the Wyze Lock Bolt page says “Connecting” or “Connected.” If the main button is gray and says “Connecting,” it is not yet connected to Bluetooth. You can also check if the settings for Wyze Lock Bolt have some words grayed out (not yet connected) or have all words in black (connected).
