Works well when near the lock. It is not WI-FI, so can not be monitored or controlled away from home. That should have been stated more clearly. It only operates over Bluetooth, unlike the rest of the Wyze products I have and was not expecting that.

It looks very nice and the fingerprint option works well . My problem is if your away from home and not connected to it via Bluetooth you won’t got alerts of the door opening or closing and who access the door and you can’t make adjustments to it on the settings unless is connected via Bluetooth

I did have a couple of "jams" when attempting to open the door before the bolt was fully retracted which required manually opening from inside.

The only drawback is no access to the lock away from home. This is a huge lack of functionality that every other lock I know of has built in. On the upside, the biometric scanner is nice and the lock is super quick and quiet.
