Picture quality is great WHEN it connects. I tried the camera next to the router and still had the same delayed connection, IF it connects.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far this has been a great camera. I'm still trying to figure out how long the battery last. I am at 41% left of the battery and I installed it about 3 weeks ago. But I did play with the light on the camera a little bit.
Cam works great! Battery lasts a while even though i had to go in and change settings. Stock settings only capture 12 second videos which isn't enough to justify having it. You can go in and change the setting which uses more battery but I would rather have Security over battery length. All In all this camera is fantastic with great battery life and great views. Spotlight works amazing.
Replaced a different brand system as their app just hated to connect and their monthly service just was too expensive for the (lack of) features. I am very impressed with the Wyze app as well as the clarity of the images. The spotlight is nice and bright as well and the battery life seems really good as well.
