I was hesitant to purchase a battery powered Wyze Cam because I thought the performance would be poor both with the battery and the camera itself. Additionally I wasn’t going to have a battery powered outdoor camera. I figured it would make things worse.
My Wyze battery cam has been outside for three weeks now in near freezing weather. The battery level is 79% and pictures it takes are very clear.

I like the camera and I was happy they offered in black. Was disappointed that the solar panel was white. I have the camera and panel up in a tree and the panel sticks out like a sore thumb. Why isn’t the panel black?

The quality is great for the video and super easy to set up. Connect to my wifi easy without dropping connections! I use a jetpack for my internet. I wish it was a panning type as wireless makes it easier for outdoor security.
