I don't like how it doesn't let you use it like every other camera where the feed is live on the app, the only way you can do that is to click on the camera and hit play. I understand that it is battery powered so it can last longer BUT with the solar panel connected you should have the option to have it work like a normal camera... That being said something also ate on this camera the same day I installed it so I have had nothing but issues with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a Wyze customer since the beginning, this camera is easy too set up.Dont have to worry about 2.4 or 5 g. Only thing is it takes a long time to charge.

Delay before recording starts so beginning of action is missed. Very short battery life unless turned off which defeats the purpose of the camera.

Hello! If the battery on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro seems to be draining quickly please try the following steps:

-Confirm that your camera’s firmware is up to date and the Wyze app is up to date.
-Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro.
-Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.

I like this way better than my 2 outdoor cams except for the lack,of mounting options. The magnetic attachments in the outdoor cams were awesome. This one came with a traditional mounting device. But so far it works pretty good.

Wyze is making it impossible to watch recordings off the SD card. They are making it so painful that you have to pay for a subscription. Worst local recording interface
