So far so good. Works very well, and with good sun exposure the battery is charged to 100% capacity daily. If it show reasonable longevity, it is a winner.
Nice looking camera. Easy setup. Outdoor V2 cam and this new camera both at the same spot in the backyard and the new one will not connect while the old one still works fine. Kind of think I should have not upgraded!

I like this camera! The ability to place it anywhere is greatness! I do have an issue with it though. It might be a software thing but not sure. The spot light comes on all the time when there is motion. I turned it off in the app but it still comes on. I have this camera in a location that it doesn't need the spot light to come on.
First, this my first Battery Cam Pro. I also ordered the solar panel. I haven’t set up the panel yet, but did do a full charge on the battery. I set the camera behind a metal building that has an access point and the signal strength is adequate. The battery life is actually better than I expected. We were watching to see what kind of animal was digging at night, thus the camera was just set out without solar. Cons to me are the picture quality appears a bit washed out like it has too light of a contrast setting. I made sure to clean the lens just in case it had anything on it, but no help. It’s not as good a picture as my regular Wyze cams and it is set to give maximum 2K. The spotlight feature is nice to illuminate on movement after dark. The digger was a rabbit.
Battery life less than expected; imaging very good

Verified Purchase:Yes
These (3) cameras replaced Arlo cameras. The Arlo batteries claim 6 month lives between recharges, and generally lasted 4-5 months. The Wyze Battery Cap Pro's also claim 6 month lives, but one lasted less than a month and 2nd only 5 weeks. The 3rd will probably need a recharge after 1.5 to 2 months. So, that's disappointing battery life, but the images and videos are bright, crisp and clear.
I was looking for a quality outdoor cam that was wireless. Other brands are more expensive. I have 4 V2 camera, when this cam was presented with a battery to switch out I thought lets give it a try. On the first night the motion sensor & light caught a deer 10 feet from the house, exactly what I wanted to see. really happy with this purchase so i just bought another. easy to install was a big plus.
