I like the camera, battery like sucks! It only lasts 7 days and needs recharging. I only get a couple of trips on it a day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

-Confirm that your camera’s firmware and the Wyze app are up to date. -Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro. -Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.

This wyze camera is a vast improvement over the sealed wyze battery outdoor cam. The removable battery and wireless flexibility are a plus and you can place it anywhere around your home without using the wall mount. Using a solar panel attached to the wyze cam pro almost negates removing the battery because it stays charged complimenting the long life battery.
It doesn't connect right away like the pan cam or the floodlight. After waiting to connect for so long, i have to restart the cam and then it will connect seamlessly for some time. I have 5 pan cams and 2 floodlights on the same wifi but this one works the worse in securing connection. the only good thing is it can record when lights go out.
Camera works great, but I can't get it to work with the Wyze Solar Panel. It doesn't show the charging symbol when connected in bright sunshine

Very pleased with the quality of video we get from this camera. Did purchase a solar panel to keep the batteries topped off camera, I think it's well worth it.
We bought this for baby monitoring since we wanted something ceiling mounted and the cord on the v4 we originally had was not long enough to reach the outlet. Our only issue is the battery does not last nearly as long as we expected. It claims 6 months but we are having to charge it weekly. Granted we are live streaming more often than normal, but even so I expected it to last longer. Not a huge issue, just something we need to stay on top of.
