Happy to recommend this Wyze Battery Cam Pro. I like how clear the videos come out to be. I like the WiFi range that it’s able to connect to. Installation and set up took less than 20 minutes for 2 devices. Battery life seems to be holding well. Not too happy with the cost to subscribe to their “cloud” service but I knew that before hand, so I won’t take a star off but it’s something buyers should consider. Holds microSD card which is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had many models of wyze cams for over 6 years, the pro version is one of the worst, need to keep resetting it, it misses events, I can't access the recordings

The cameras work just okay. A lot of times they don't even record on the app or or alert and sometimes not at all, and I have fiber optic.

These cameras are a great idea and I actually own about 12 of them. They are simple to mount and set up. My only issue with them is they are inconsistent in their connectivity when trying to use them “live”. They record activity very well when they are not operating “live” but it is hit or miss if the cameras will actually operate/connect in “live” mode when you need them to. This is true for cameras both far from or near to the internet signal source. It can be frustrating. I do not have the same issues with my electrically operated Wyze cams of which I have 13. These cameras always operate consistently even if they are twice as far away as the battery operated Wyze cams. So, these are good cameras that fill a need, but just be aware of a weakness I have found in their operation.

I purchased the 2 pack after first purchasing a solo unit to try. They all work great and were exceptionally easy to initiate and install. My only complaint is the fact I paid as much for the solo unit as I did for the 2 pack.
