It does a good job of just sipping current from the battery to capture "events" until dawn when it can recharge. I still haven't had days of clouds or (gasp) snow to impead the 2.5 watt solar panel from recharging it so the jury is mostly out on this until I've had it longer.

Picture quality is such an improvement over blink. Interesting these are incident cameras and notify you every time. Some flexibility like other cameras would enhance but they work great. Used solar panel so shouldn't need to deal with low battery. Strong mount set up.
