The camera has an excellent video quality and the great features I was expecting from Wyze. The biggest issue I found is the huge lag between the event occurring and the recording to start. You basically miss all the important details of the event. I have other cameras on the premises and noted that a delivery driver walked the entire driveway without being recorded by this camera and it wasn't until the delivery driver was within a feet away of the property that the recording on this camera started. Crossing that driveway at a normal walking speed takes at least 5 seconds. That is just too much delay that I can't afford.

Love the camera--hate the battery! Needed this camera to prevent vandalism at an old amusement park as there is no power in the area of "The Old Lady's Shoe." The shoe was part of the now defunct Benson's Wild Animal Farm from 1926-1987. The grounds of the animal park were purchased by the town of Hudson, NH, and in 2010 Bensons reopened as a public park.
Unfortunately, the park isn't particularly well fenced in, and in the past the Old Lady's Shoe has been damaged and graffittied. The Wyze Battery Cam Pro is the perfect solution to our problem!
Setup was a breeze! The documentation is concise and easily understood. Compared to older Wyze Cams, setup was much easier!
Our wifi strength isn't impressive at the shoe, so the BCP uses extra battery power to maintain a connection and the battery lasts just a bit longer than two weeks--a BIG departure from the 6-month battery life advertised. Once we improve the wifi, maybe battery life will improve. Until then, at least the camera works fine and does what we need--plus its easy to pop in another battery pack! We purchased an external battery charger and an extra removable battery pack.
Highly recommended, as long as you purchase an external charger and an extra battery. Just don't be deluded into believing your battery will last 6 months between charges!

Camera range doesn’t always pick up movement at the distance that is stated on the camera. Also if the wind blows one of my cameras triggers on hanging plants moving. I have tried changing the sensitivity and also blocking the area that the plants are in but it still triggers. This is affecting the battery life. I wanted a camera on my front porch but didn’t expect that I would then have to remove items I already had because the camera picks up the wind blowing items and the area blocking feature does not appear to work.

Good camera. Wish the motion sensitivity was a little better. I can walk around my driveway and not be noticed, but, everytime there is a deer near my front yard it goes off...Sometimes takes a bit to load up. Get a notification and it won't go to the video immediately...
