I needed a video cam in a location without access to power. The battery cam pro has, so far, been an excellent solution. It was simple to set up and the video quality is excellent. The app is easy to use and he has more features then I shall ever need. I cannot comment on the battery life until I use it more.
does not hold a charge purchased this for 24/7 recording with a solar panel. Stay charged for one day drop down to 10% the next day and solar panel couldn't get it above 25%.

I bought this camera along with an extra battery. The description says that the battery can last up to 6 months…well that is a lie. I am lucky if I get a full week…I can’t do continuous recording because it drains the battery. I can’t use the flood light because that also kills the battery….overall the camera is good but you can’t really use it the way you’d want to because of the battery life.
My first experience with this camera was not good. Although the camera was simple to install, it has been difficult to configure properly. After trying many different configurations, I cannot get the camera to detect motion properly. There is either a recording delay, or a motion detection delay that pretty much makes my cameras useless.

Not happy with the range and/or sensitivity even agter adjusting. They do not pick up people walking in front of our house, but if a car drives by it picks it up every time!
Battery 50% gone within the first two weeks, so can only imagine the settings to getting to 6 months. 3 weeks after installing the camera it disconnected from the app and I placed it at a position that is annoying to get to. Would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
